Tropical Cottages

Le Phare Bleu (LPB) Marina Resort is located in picturesque Petite Calivigny Bay (Egmont) only fifteen minutes from Maurice Bishop International Airport. Our laid back waterfront marina resort offers 14 self contained seafront and garden cottages as well as some smaller suites. All with small kitchens nestled in tropical Caribbean gardens with expansive verandas for open air living. The bedrooms are air-conditioned for added comfort. From all our tropical cottages guests enjoy scenic garden and marina views just steps from our mangrove beach, pool and restaurant.

Our friendly service mixed with our resort amenities and casual vibe make LPB a great place for relaxation and to ease you into an island state of mind. At the entrance of our marina and Petit Calivigny Bay are our 2 small mangrove beaches. Walk out on our dock to swim from one of our platforms into our calm bay.

The vibe of our resort is meant to be casual. Cottages have their own kitchen so you can do your own thing but you also have access to our relaxed restaurant and bar in case you want to skip the dishes. Island Fever Tropical Tavern has something for everyone including with our all day menu, as well as daily special features and seasonal menus. Anchored in the laid-back style and carefree atmosphere our dress code is swimsuit casual.

From a lightship that doubles as a bar with karaoke on Fridays to our small marina village and tropical gardens, LPB’s family friendly atmosphere offers a quaint village feel to it.

Our resort offers amenities such as:

• Lightship bar offering karaoke on Friday night
• 2 small seagrass meadow beaches and watersports: kayaks and hobie cats

• Laundromat or drop off and pick up laundry onsite (surcharge)
• Marina with slips for 60 boats including an on-site customs office

Meat and Meet Market is on site which is a butcher shop, deli and bakery with ready made meals, grocery items and local, handmade products.  This makes it convenient for you to pick up some goodies you may want for your kitchen.

As well, there is a well stocked grocery store in our neighbourhood called SOG Foods that is open 7 days a week.

Our beach is called a Seagrass Meadow. Seagrass meadows are often removed by hotels and resorts who believe their guests would rather have white sand than a green, undersea meadow. Unfortunately, completely removing the seagrass can have devastating effects on neighbouring coral reefs, local fisheries, and even the shape of the seabed.

Seagrass meadows are often referred to as nursery habitats, as the dense layer of leaves provides safe shelter for juvenile fish and invertebrates. Hence the name, turtle grass which makes up the seagrass meadow also provide a valuable source of food for green turtles, which are a common sight here in Le Phare Bleu bay.

Art with a Mission

Meet Donel Pysadee…

Donel is a self taught Grenadian Artist who started painting at the age of 13 and fell in love with painting using acrylic. Donel now 18, focuses on abstract and realism and is looking to raise enough money to study Art at SCAD in the U.S. (https://www.scad.edu/academics/programs/painting). Donel aspires to travel and open his own studio one day.
